2018 Nebraska Dry Bean Variety Trials
Published 2019
Scientists in the Panhandle Research and Extension Center dry bean breeding program conducted replicated field trials in 2018 to evaluate which dry bean entries (varieties or experimental lines) are best suited for western Nebraska. The trials were conducted at two locations, the Scottsbluff and the Mitchell agricultural laboratories. These trials have been conducted for 38 years as a service to Nebraska’s dry bean industry. Information about dry bean variety performance can be accessed on the web at https://cropwatch.unl.edu/varietytest/othercrops.
