Getting Started with Drones in Agriculture (G2296)

G2296
Published 2018

Use of drones in agriculture can vary widely. Many producers may be interested initially in use primarily for crop scouting with a system that has video feed to the ground control station. The ability to quickly view a field from above in real time can be an invaluable scouting resource to identify areas of concern.

The other end of the spectrum for current drone applications in agriculture is collection of georeferenced, multispectral images.
