Impact of Feeding Distillers Grain on Nutrient Management Planning for Beef Cattle Systems

This publication summarizes the NMP/CNMP changes necessary when distillers grains co-products are included in a beef ration and introduces implications to public policy. It evaluates the differences, as diet changes, in excreted manure, land requirements, labor and equipment costs, and value of the manure as a fertilizer.
