Educators working with young adults seeking rental housing for the first time or other adults having difficulty renting due to past problems will like RentWise. This nine-hour hands-on education program contains six modules:

• Communication and conflict resolution
• Managing money effectively
• Finding a place to call home
• Getting through the rental process
• Taking care of a home
• When you move out

The materials stress tenant responsibilities and the benefits of positive, nonconfrontational relationships. The 130-page Facilitator’s Manual contains detailed lesson plans, activities, and teaching resources.

Participants completing the program will earn a certificate.
