False Chinch Bug on Potato

Early-season infestations of false chinch bugs (Nysius raphinus) in Nebraska can cause economic loss in potato. While potato is not a common host, in Nebraska false chinch bugs move to potatoes from neighboring fields of wheat or alfalfa.
