The family strengths perspective is a world-view or orientation toward life and families grounded in research with more than 24,000 family members in 35 countries around the world. Researchers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Alabama-Tuscalosa and affiliated institutions world-wide have studied families from a strengths perspective and derived a number of propositions about strong families from this work.
