Fast Foods! is designed to help cook healthy, nutritious meals at home, FAST! The fast pace of our lives makes it ever more complicated to put a good, nutritious meal on the table for the family. The Fast Foods 4-H project is designed to help today’s busy families meet those needs through some common sense planning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. Nutrition information helps the 4-H’er excel in meal planning skills. Activity topics include: grocery store tours, stocking the pantry, using spices, menu planning, cooking terms, identifying cooking terms and tools and more. Colorful and up to date, this project will make learning about food fun! 82 pages plus 42 perforated pages for substitutions, food equivalencies, and recipe cards. Aligned to school standards.
