Helping youth develop emotional literacy—the ability to
understand and express feelings, develop self-confidence,
and make friends—is ultimately laying the foundation for
future success and happiness. Who doesn’t want happy,

school-aged youth, let’s think about and act upon ways we
can encourage and support social emotional skills to help
kids be happy and successful.
