Controlling House Mice

Z1105

House mice (Mus musculus) are highly adapted to human environments and can thrive under a variety of conditions. They are found in and around homes, farms, urban lots, open fields, and agricultural lands. House mice are uncommon in undisturbed areas away from farms and towns. House mice are a significant pest in the United States and cause an estimated $20 million in damage to stored feeds and structures in Nebraska every year. House mice consume and contaminate food meant for humans, livestock, and other animals.
